Today I had a call off a customer with a VW polo and the fault code 01044 with a request for me to come out mobile and help diagnose the fault. The customer was using a recently supplied Autel 908s from myself. I dont remember the exact code before fixing the moduel but it was something like there was no communication between the module and the ECU. After puting back the module, he scanned the codes (with VAG-COM)and all he got was a 01044 - Control.
